Traditionally you wear an obi belt tied around the waist under the bust (Japanese obi belt style) - double round, then double simple knot to simply let ties hang down or create a bow which can be front, side or back. See our video showing how to tie an obi belt. This is a great cinch belt for hourglass curves or adding curves and in 3" can also be worn lower down or on the hips - experiment to find your sweet spot. So many options for how to tie your sash belt and damn, it looks good! Our dedicated obi site will show you how to tie an obi belt and outfit ideas e.g. adds delectable style to shapeless dresses and sweaters. Has limitless potential - wear over cardigans, jackets and coats too.
Size help: This Once Upon a Belt brand obi belt / sash belt comes in one size and has been tested to fit all. It is 99"/2.5m long in total to fits waists 25" to 41". This means at the upper end you won't be able to create a large bow, just tie with a double knot which still looks fab. Slimmer ladies have a few more ways to tie an obi belt or they can easily cut the ties down to their preferred length with some sharp scissors but this is rarely necessary.
If you find you have ordered the wrong size, don't worry as you can return it for a refund or exchange (see returns tab for conditions) but it is really worth digging out the tape measure to save you extra postage costs and to fast track your road to satisfaction. Please ignore your naked vital statistics / mens trouser size / ladies dress size. Help is in our size guide video and below.
Means we have only the one size left in this belt or it comes in one size only.
